This saddle has a lot of life left despite cosmetic flaws. The saddle features wool flocked panels (it has a closed panel system for reflocking) and a reflocking is recommended for it. The saddle overall does have wear consistent with its age and moderate use. The bottom of the flaps and the seat both have worn leather at the edges. The seat also has some wrinkles, but the tree appears 'sound' when flexed. There sre random scrapes along the pommel, cantle, and flaps of the saddle. We tried our best to photograph all the cosmetic marks. We would be happy to provide any other additional photos, but we can only upload so many here.
According to the flap stamp info, this saddle is a 17.5" Seat, it has an 'XL' flap length, 4.5 cm wider than. a standard medium tree (+4.5) and a panel depth of '4'. The full stamp/ serial number reads
"17 1/2 XL2223057 4 + 4 1/2
DEBBIE MERTZ"
The previous owner of the saddle had her name stamped on the flap.
